The boys and girls enjoyed going to their first bake sale before Halloween. They were very excited to eat their goodies in school.

School Tour 2026 - Causey Farm
The children had a wonderful day out on their school tour to Causey Farm. They enjoyed a fantastic range of activities, from petting small farm animals to exploring mirror mazes and tunnels. There was great fun building with blocks, chasing bubbles, and spending time together in the fresh air. It was a day full of laughter, excitement, and happy memories for everyone.
May
Mr McEnery’s class had great fun taking part in the School Marathon Relay! The event was a great success and the children were excited to run in front of a large crowd.
April
The children planted seeds in their plastic greenhouses. They learnt about how seeds grow and the conditions needed to grow. We observed some great growth as a class and it was clear that the greenhouses worked!
March
Mr McEnery’s class took part in a Céilí as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge. The children danced to the song ‘Walls of Limerick’. The children enjoyed all the activities during the week but I think this dance was the most enjoyable. Maith Sibh!
Márta
Ghlac rang an Uasail Mac Innéirí páirt i gCéilí mar chuid de Sheachtain na Gaeilge. Rinne na páistí damhsa leis an amhrán ‘Ballaí Luimnigh’. Bhain na páistí taitneamh as na gníomhaíochtaí go léir i rith na seachtaine ach is dóigh liom gurbh é an damhsa seo an ceann ba thaitneamhaí. Maith Sibh!
Ms Branigan's class have settled in very well to Senior Infants. We have been very busy working on number in maths. We had great fun subitising how many cubes our partner had in their tower
Look at some of our art work based on some stories. We enjoyed listening to Little Red Riding Hood, The Day The Crayons Quit and The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark.

A busy year for Senior Infants!
What a busy year Ms Smyth’s senior infants have had! We worked so hard all year.
One of the highlights of Senior Infants was working with our buddies this year, Mr O’Connor’s 6th class. They helped us with scratch to build our IT skills, helped us with our art and we did portraits of each other. We’ll really miss them next year!
Senior Infants School Tour
We had the best day exploring Causey Farm on our school tour! We played in the maze, had a welly throwing competition, made giant bubbles and went on a magical train ride. But the best part was definitely getting to pet all the farm animals!
Ms O Foley's Section
On October 17th Garda Sabrina came to visit us and we listened very carefully to her. She taught us all about road safety and how to be safe at Halloween.
Ms. Foley’s class have been working very hard this term!
We’ve been learning all about the signs of autumn and have created some beautiful artwork to go with our lessons. Our Gaeilge is coming along wonderfully, and we’ve been enjoying lots of pair work together. We also read a really fun story called The Day the Crayons Quit and even made our own fabulous crayons afterwards!
We’ve also been taking part in the Skip Around the World Challenge and have loved skipping every day. What a busy and exciting term it’s been so far!
