Sonas Teachers

Sonas have been having lots of fun baking this week.

Our mobile shop was a big success today!  A huge well done to Mrs Flood’s 5th class for demonstrating excellent business skills and for using Lámh signs while working with Cairde Nua and Sonas.

Sonas went on a very special Christmas trip this week. First we went to the post office to send some special cards. Then we went to Tuscany Pizza for our lunch. It was so tasty. Tuscany Pizza were very kind to us and gave us our lunch as a present. Thank you for your kindness.

Little Blue Hero Garda Logan came to visit Sonas, Cairde Nua and some of the junior classes to very kindly bring us some Christmas treats. Everyone was so happy to meet Garda Logan. Thank you very much and keep up the great work.

Maths Week fun in Sonas

We have been very busy baking in Sonas. We learned how to make brown bread. We put all of the ingredients in the bowl and mixed them well. After we baked the bread we enjoyed trying some with butter and jam

We have been busy baking cookies. We put all of the ingredients into the mixing bowl and used the electric mixer to make the dough. Then we added chocolate chips and mixed it together before we put our cookies in the oven to bake. They were delicious.
